Documentation Award 2010
Wiesbaden, Nov. 2010: CHILI wins tekom Documentation Award 2010 for the best user manual. At the tekom Annual Conference, held each year in Wiesbaden, the tekom Documentation Award for the best user manuals was presented. CHILI GmbH received the award for its user manual for the Telemedicine Record, CHILI's electronic patient record, winning first prize in this year's competition.
tekom introduced the Documentation Award in 2005. Industrial and service companies from almost all sectors can participate. An independent team of experts evaluates the user instructions, manuals, installation instructions or online help services entered for the competition. The jury bases its decision on compliance with the relevant standards and directives, for example DIN EN 62079, VDI 4500 and the tekom guide to safety instructions. Every entry classed by the jury as good or very good wins the Thot Trophy, named after the Egyptian god of the scribes and scholars, and receives a certificate. The Award was presented to Elke Fortkamp and Christian Bohn on 4 November at the tekom Annual Conference in Wiesbaden.
