This annual event is a marathon lasting several days that puts the interoperability of various medical IT systems in accordance with the IHE standard to the test.

IHE publishes Technical Frameworks, which serve as guidelines for cooperation between the various information systems. Each framework covers various communication profiles, each of which describes one part of the clinical workflow and defines the communication processes between the various IT systems.
At each Connectathon the IHE-compliant implementation of the communication profiles of various IT systems is tested by performing communication tests. About 90 companies sent a total of approximately 300 delegates to test their systems in Bordeaux.
This was the fourth time that CHILI GmbH took part in the event and tested how its new communication profiles interact with systems from other manufacturers. The following profiles were successfully tested:
CHILI is a member of IHE Germany (IHE-Deutschland e.V.) and supports the international IHE Initiative. Our IHE Integration Statements list all of the IHE profiles supported by CHILI and all of the IHE transactions implemented by CHILI.
