Invitation to MEDICA – 16 to 19 November 2011

Dear Sir or Madam,

In a few days, the medical industry will be convening at MEDICA, which is held once a year in Düsseldorf. In this Newsletter, we would like to draw your attention beside many other products and exhibits to some of the CHILI highlights that will be presented live at this year’s trade fair.

You will find our booth at E50 in Hall 15. We look forward to seeing you there!

Mobile DICOM Viewer
CHILI/Mobile
The first CHILI version for the latest mobile devices such as iPad, iPhone, and Android will be presented. In addition to the usual image viewing functions like zoom, pan, level/window, annotations and findings display, the software is completely integrated in the workflow and permits, for example, the preparation and supervision of the radiology meeting, the administration and status monitoring of sending, authorizations, and sharing as well as the system monitoring of PACS.

DICOM RT Viewer
DICOM RT
With the DICOM RT viewer, CHILI is introducing a new module for displaying radiation and therapy plans which are saved in the DICOM-RT format. These are available from anywhere on the network as a CHILI/Web module. The therapy plans contain, among other things, the relevant structures (organs at risk, target volume), the dose distribution, and the actual device settings for the radiation (treatment plan).

Patient Patch GUI
Patient Patch GUI – Module for correcting patient data
The Patient Patch GUI module will be presented in a first version with a new look and extended functionality. It is used for processing and postprocessing patient data. In addition to the existing functions, such as editing and merging studies and overwriting study data with data from a worklist, studies can now be separated and assigned to other patients.

PET/CT
PET/CT
This function in CHILI/Web combines the images produced by the two examination methods of a PET/CT (positron emission tomography and computer tomography). In other words, the images are displayed together in the image viewer, provided that the image coordinates and image data originate from the same device. In the database view they appear as two separate studies (PT and CT). The images are overlaid in the image viewer, while the transparency and colors are freely variable.

Hanging Editor
Hanging Editor
CHILI's Hanging Editor is used to configure hanging protocols. A hanging protocol defines the type of screen display used for studies and their relevant preliminary studies on a CHILI workstation.
The Hanging Editor is available as an integrated module within the CHILI application or as a standalone program version.

Don't miss the live presentation of our workstations and take the opportunity to find out about our products in depth – we look forward to welcoming you to our booth!
Kind regards from Dossenheim near Heidelberg,
your CHILI team
