CHILI installation in Santiago de Chile Together with our partner ITMS, a daughter of the Swiss company Global Telemed Systems AG, a CHILI system has been installed in Santiago de Chile. It will be used for teleradiological purposes. ITMS provides a service for teleradiological findings to hospitals that have no radiological unit of their own. Our colleague Christian Bohn carried out the on site installation and training for the local co-workers. |

New functions in CHILI/Web: Fusion of PET/CT-images In CHILI/Web the images of the two examinations of a PET/CT (positron emission tomography with computer tomography) can be combined, i.e. displayed together on the image viewer (provided the image coordinates and image data are derived from the same device). |

Retrospective of HIS – RIS – PACS and 13th DICOM Meeting The HIS-RIS-PACS Meeting in Mainz has once again turned out as a successful event for CHILI. The casual environment offered many possibilities to reactivate existing contacts and to establish new ones. CHILI GmbH also sponsored this year's DICOM Meeting, which took place at Schloss Waldthausen (Waldthausen castle) near Mainz, from July 14 - 16, 2011. |

Retrospective of the Freiburg Radiology Days At the Freiburg Radiology Days from July 22 to 23 CHILI presented its global and modular software solutions in the PACS area for radiology. Customers and interested visitors from university hospitals, ambulatory health care centers and radiological practices informed themselves at our booth about modern image management. |

Medical Fair Thailand in Bangkok From September 14 to 16 the 5th international exhibition for medicine and pharmacy, the Medical Fair Thailand, takes place in Bangkok. CHILI GmbH will for the first time be represented there together with its partner Penta-Services with a booth of its own. |

Radiology Convention Ruhr The Radiology Convention Ruhr is gaining importance in medical circles which also manifests itself in an increasing number of visitors. This year it will take place in Bochum from October 13 to 15, 2011. This time the educational forum puts a special focus on pediatric radiology. CHILI GmbH will attend the convention and be represented with a booth. |

CHILI user day in Heidelberg In November 2011 CHILI will be organizing a user day. We would like to give our customers and interested persons the opportunity to meet our staff members in the flesh and get a glimpse behind the scenes of our company. In addition to a tour around the new office space we offer workshops and lectures. Further information on the event will be provided soon. |

Visit by the member of the Bundestag (German Federal Parliament) Dr. Karl Lamers Dr. Karl Lamers MdB member of the German Federal Parliament for the Christian Democratic Party (CDU) visited the CHILI GmbH on July 27, 2011 in the course of his Lamers-summer-roundtrip, to view the new office spaces and get to know us as an innovative company in his electoral district. He was highly interested in our products and services. |

Teleradiology: The way from research to regular health care provision The main topic of the current issue of the mdi magazine, the official publication of the Professional Association of Medical Informatics and Medical Information Specialists is Telemedicine. In an article Dr. Uwe Engelmann describes the development of teleradiology, the current state as well as the expected further developments using CHILI as an example. |
